There are some groups and singers that it took me some time to get used to. (I originally used to find Cyndi Lauper's high voice to be irritating, but with time I saw it as unique and her own quirky trademark.) But its great to have been so blessed to live in an era (the '80s) when there was so much to choose from!

-LazloLazlohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02037087843637735080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7994274287521522726.post-49305032340234228752015-08-16T07:27:08.084-04:002015-08-16T07:27:08.084-04:00I was never a big fan of Culture Club though. I'd never seen anything like Boy George before and coming from a world where men were men etc. I just didn't have any frame of reference for him.
These days I think I know better.

Mind you, I've never been able to see him in the same light once I found out that Boy George once rang up a music writer that had slagged the album and promised to fill him in. He was a big lad, was George, and a bit of hardcase.Dale Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13911232031451509568noreply@blogger.com
